Meet the Newmans
Didcot Pet Store is an independent, family-run pet shop in Didcot, Oxfordshire. It was opened in 2013 by husband and wife, Trevor and Audrey Newman, daughter Charley and now joined by our eldest daughter Seanne.
Pets have always been a big part of family life for the Newman’s, but haven’t always been a fixture professionally. Previously Trevor and Audrey ran a discount store; when they decided to stock some animal food it sold out almost immediately and prompted a whole raft of requests from customers for all types of pet products. As big animal lovers themselves, opening a pet shop seemed a natural progression, and so Didcot Pet Store was born.
Didcot Pet Store caters for all domestic animals such as dogs, cats, hamsters and rabbits; reptiles; birds; and non-domestic animals such as horses and pigs.

We stock items for all aspects of animal care including food, grooming, toys, collars, leads, litter trays, bedding and cleaning. We stock a number of different types of food to suit all diets, including wet, dry and raw. We even produce our own Didcot Pet Store range of food, which is available to buy here.
